Open to the public since 2004, the non-profit educates people about the exotic cats it houses and gives them the chance to see the animals feed on more than 600 pounds of meat. The Catty Shack Ranch is open on select days and evenings of the week and is the permanent home of Siberian tigers, lions, cougars, black leopards, a bobcat, a coatimundi, and foxes.
For adults, it costs $15 to visit the sanctuary. Entry for children who are between three and 11 years-old costs $10. There is no charge for children who are two years-old or younger to visit the sanctuary. The sanctuary is staffed exclusively by volunteers, which means 100 percent of your donations and 100 percent of the proceeds from all purchases made in the non-profit’s thrift store are used to fund the sanctuary’s life-saving work.
