As your local Florida Porsche dealers, we love new Porsche cars as much as we admire their predecessors. We enjoy learning about the innovations the Porsche brand continues to make just like we relish learning more about the history of the brand we proudly represent. These are the reasons why we’d love to visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.

The Porsche Museum is located right next to the Porsche brand’s headquarters in Europe. Housed by a futuristic building designed by renowned architect, Delugan Meissl, the Porsche Museum has more than 60,200 square feet of exhibition space. More than 80 vehicles are on display in the museum, ranging from the world’s first hybrid car built in 1898 to the latest Porsche models. Given its unique design and generous selection of groundbreaking Porsche vehicles that spans generations, the Porsche Museum is widely recognized as one of the most remarkable automobile museums on the planet.

After the Porsche Museum opened on January 31, 2009, the institution welcomed more than 700,000 visitors in its first year. By December, 2013, over two million Porsche enthusiasts had toured the facility. Over the years, the Porsche Museum has done more than educate people about the brand they love. It has also served as a platform through which the Porsche brand has successfully communicated with the public, something that has always contributed to the automaker’s success.

Ferdinand Porsche once said, “Those who have the good fortune to turn their dream into a business owe it to the world to be the custodians of such dreams.” That notion is the cornerstone upon which the Porsche brand built an automobile museum on its corporate campus.

While we don’t have an inventory of historic Porsche vehicles on display at our Porsche dealership near St. Augustine, FL, we do have a wide selection of Porsche cars that includes the brand’s latest models as well as some pre-owned Porsche automobiles. If you’d like to learn more about the vehicles we have for sale or lease, give us a call or stop by Porsche of Jacksonville today.
