As your local Florida Porsche dealers we’re always excited when the Porsche brand unveils a new car or introduces a new, innovative technology. The brand we represent has been forward thinking and progressive for decades so we’ve come to expect excellence every time the Porsche brand comes up with something new.
While the Porsche brand always delivers the brilliance we expect, the automaker exceeded our already high expectations when the 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo made its worldwide debut at the Geneva Auto Show. While the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo shares the 116.1-inch wheelbase that the Porsche Panamera sedan sits on, the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo has a look and feel that are all its own.
The 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is a station wagon-shaped version of the Porsche Panamera sedan that boasts a squared off roofline that ends with a self-adjusting, active-aero spoiler. The design of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo gives the versatile vehicle a muscular appearance that’s simply undeniable.
While the 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo only has six or seven percent more cargo room than its sedan sibling, the vehicle features other practical touches that make the car extremely user-friendly. The back seat can seat three passengers instead of two, for instance, and the car has more headroom in the back. The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo has a new 40/20/40 split seatback that folds down if you need more cargo capacity, too. The car also has a hatch opening that’s broader than the sedan’s trunk opening. The vehicle has a lower lift-over height as well.
Every Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo has standard adaptive air suspension and the Porsche Traction Management active all-wheel drive system. Other than the differences mentioned above, the new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is equipped like the Porsche Panamera sedan and is eligible for the same technology options and powertrains.
