Porsche Cars with Smartphone Features
New Porsche 911 and Porsche Taycan models will have Android Auto™ compatibility for the 2022 model year. You’ll get to seamlessly sync your Android device in both the Porsche Taycan and the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, allowing you to use Google Maps for acquiring directions.
All of the above models already have wireless Apple CarPlay® in previous iterations, which also includes Apple Podcasts and Apple Music.

With Android Auto™, you’ll have access to features like Navigation Plus and voice control, both of which require a subscription. Buyers of either the Porsche 911 or the Porsche Taycan, however, will receive a complimentary three-year trial period, which also includes SiriusXM® radio. You’ll have ample time to try out these services and determine whether you want to hold onto these perks as long-term features.
But that’s not all; with Android Auto™, you’ll be able to connect to the Porsche Communication Management system. Just plug in your smartphone and enjoy convenient access to a suite of Google features like Google Voice Assistant and more. With the installation of an app, you’ll also gain access to a park assist feature that makes parallel and perpendicular parking easy.
